“You can accomplish anything you set your mind to but it will feel so much better when you're not stressing yourself out in the process.” -Kim Sutton

How do you feel at the end of the day when you look at your to-do list? Do you feel frustrated because you were not able to finish them all? Or do you go, “Nah! It’s fine!” Rarely do we say the latter. The reason? We tend to expect too much.

This week, Kim discusses why we need to stop torturing ourselves with too many expectations and tips that can help us set reasonable and realistic expectations of ourselves and other people. She also shares how to manage our expectations in the business setting so we can maximize our productivity and protect our relationship with our team and the clients we work with.

Tune in for part 4 of the  L.I.V.E B.E.T.T.E.R Framework where Kim takes you on a fascinating transformational journey of Working Smarter Not Harder, one letter at a time!

“Find out what the true value of sleep is so that there is no question why you need to get more.” -Kim Sutton

Are you tired? Is your energy level nearing a dangerous state? Our lifestyle has had us living an impossible life. No wonder we are always exhausted, not only with our jobs and responsibilities but in life in general. Sometimes, we even get drained faster than our smartphones. If only we are rechargeable like our batteries.

Oh, wait!… We are!

We do have something called “sleep” and “good food”. We just forget to get ourselves on that charging mode because of our list of unending tasks. We skip meals, we cut short our sleep, and we know we don’t want to live like this anymore. This week, Kim talks about vitality and how we can get more as we can build our business and fulfill our responsibilities.

“Think about how you can under-promise and over-deliver and excite people when you are able to do more for them rather than the other way around. Remember, it's so much easier to build your business off referrals from making your clients and customers happy than having to go out from ground zero every single time.” -Kim Sutton

Sometimes, it’s easier to break a promise we made to ourselves than to others although deep down, we know this shouldn’t be. This week, Kim shares her own journey with integrity and how it changed the way she serves her clients.

Often, we think of integrity as pertaining to other people. But there is also something called personal integrity. Kim talks about how developing integrity as entrepreneurs can help us under-promise and over-deliver so our clients stay happy and satisfied without us being stretched to the limit.

Almost all of us grow up thinking that we can only ever achieve anything in life by doing more. The hustle culture is one great product of this. Day and night, we all work our life away, forgetting that the reason we do it is so we can enjoy life. But are we really enjoying and finding fulfillment in it? In this episode, Kim Sutton sits down with Crista Grasso to talk about how we can achieve more by actually doing less. Known as "The Business Optimizer," Crista has the ability to quickly cut through the noise and focus on optimizing the core things that will make the biggest impact to grow and scale a business. She imparts her wisdom and expertise with us as she talks about what makes a lean business and how we can also apply it to our daily lives. Sometimes, doing more does not necessarily equate to having more. It helps to take a step back and assess which parts you can do more efficiently and productively. Lean out in this conversation.

What do entrepreneurship and puberty have in common? It may sound like a weird question but Kim Sutton knows from her experience as a businessperson and as a parent that there is one critical point of comparison between the two. Have you ever felt the pressure of doing something for your business just because everyone is doing it?
